Shadow Box For Military Coins Idea
The Coin Shadow Box is a mini-museum that holds valuable items
They are placed inside a protected frame, which can be placed on a shelf or hung on a wall. Sports medals, scout marks, political campaigns, travel, as well as many military medals, bottle caps, antique coins, arrowheads, wedding bouquets, antique toy soldiers or small porcelain dolls, Disney, Hard Rock, NASA and – everything, what is connected with family or favorite things can be put in this box.
These are items that can be grouped together and put in a prominent place. Coins should be handled delicately and stored properly in order to preserve their detail and quality. Coins can be displayed in the shadow box where they will be protected from dust, any debris, wear and tarnishing while they are on display.
Features shadow boxes
Most of the items located in the shadow box are attached to the substrate. Light items can be safely attached to the back of the box, which is covered with a durable fabric. This is usually a dark-colored fabric. Heavier metal coins are recommended to be placed on board with shelves covered with felt, silk, velvet or flax. Such a box will be more reliable and durable. The front glass cover should not touch anything on the display. A larger, deeper and shady box with a wooden or masonite support is heavy, even before it is filled, and requires a secure fit on wall racks.
A regular shadow box holds up to 20-25 larger medals or coins and up to 50 small
It is easy to use: just open the front cover, remove the clasp from the pin and stick it through the felt in special foam under it. Felt provides a good visual background, so the bright pins really stand out. You can move your badges or medals at any time.
This glass lid opens in front for easy access to your collection
The compartment inside stores your collectible coins, chips, and other valuables. You can choose a box of natural wood. Show your achievements or a collection of coins in several ways – hang on a wall or put on a prominent place on a shelf so your friends can admire it.
Clean the Coins with a brush and place them on a towel to remove dirt or debris. If you have distilled water or olive oil, you can use a cotton swab to gently rub the coins. Spread them on a towel in the order in which you display them and move them to the box. In our store, you can choose a solid wood display case with a glass door.
